All other meetings were at greyhound/speedway stadiums. The first meeting at Neath was on 12th March 1955. Unfortunately, the locals weren't all that interested in either watching or taking part, and the last meeting was on 15th July 1955. The track was empty for 7 years until speedway was introduced in 1962, but that didn't take off either.
